Excuse me? I was just wondering at the time if the link was dead or if it was my end not opening the link for some reason. You give me a thumbs down because English is maybe not your 1st language and misread my reply?

Then you comment on the post itself. You replied to the whole thread. English isn't my first language either what does that have to do with anything???

No offence meant here, it was simply a question to see if they misunderstood my post. How can they dislike a post that was simply asking asking if the link was dead? How is that against forum rules or possibly offensive to anyone?

The rules: https://forums.socialmediagirls.com/threads/forum-rules.14/

"18) Do not make a new post if you have nothing to share.
Posts are for content only. Use the comments if you want to discuss things.
Does NOT apply to MODS/ADMIN!"

It is really annoying when this one isn't followed because we all get notified of new content... of which there isn't any. This is what comments are for in cases like this especially if you are referring to something specific like a link from another post. This is usually ignored by new people who haven't been around to see everyone following this rule but since you've been around ages the other person was pointing out how you should know better by now from seeing how other people use the forum and even if you haven't studied those rules it is literally the etiquette of any online place where people share content to not do that (unless there isn't a comment function or whatevs where it is still annoying but inevitable).
