She uses it as a threat against people leaking content. Again, her posts say that each person is sent a unique watermark, so her threat is if your video leaks I'll know it was you that leaked it and can come after you. But they all have the same watermark so it's an idle threat that she hopes will curb some leaks.

It's the struggle that every piece of digital media has. How to make it difficult to pirate, without making the experience terrible for the actual customer.... She doesn't care about the actual customer so it just makes it annoying for everyone.
