Here's a long winded way that I do it

Open page with video on

Top right click on the three dots to open the menu

Find development tools or similar sounding name in the menu, might need to click on more tools

A side panel should appear with headers like "elements", "console" etc

Click on "network" if not already where you are

There is another subset of headers with "font", "img" and so on

Click on media if not already there

Play your video and a file should appear in the box below (you may need to refresh your page if the video you want to download has already played or otherwise not working)

If you double click on the link under the "name" header it will open the video in a different tab

Then you can download as usual, by right clicking on the video or the three dots at the bottom
