Sadly the AI fakes/edits/filters are only gonna get worse as the tech improves. It's lazy, dishonest, and always looks cringe imo. We already know what too much makeup looks like, we know what too much post-process editing looks like, we know what too much real time filter looks like, and now the AI jumping in that mix is just another point on that trajectory.
Feels a lot like the gaming industry as well. Everything is low effort, maximum profit. Like a handful of people benefit from that and I hate it.
