I can confirm this works for Privacy! I just downloaded a video from a chat I received, tried a lot other methods like FetchV and other downloaders and extensions but without success.
As I don't have a Android Phone I installed Bluestacks (Android Emulator) from Google and downloaded the apk and then installed it with Bluestacks. Ran the Firedown browser, went to the chat where video is found, started the video and selected best quality, then pressed in the middle on the firedown symbol, sorted only videos and just pressed download, it worked like a charm!
