Few here appreciate longer, well-thought out comments like yours, but I do. Been around since the emergence of internet porn and at this point, particularly given the over-inflated content that is becoming the standard, I'm as interested in the business and sociological aspects of the game as I am the content.

i really don't think that's the case, marvelfans doesn't seem like it's as big as they hoped, but they've got several spin off sites that are all sustaining themselves independently, and i get the impression teenmarvel does even better than marvelcharm. look at the comments a lot of the sets have, they're clearly still selling. how much you like the current girls is just personal preference, saying they're not as appealing and sales are going down is purely speculation based on nothing

I've been a (casual) customer for many years, and buying tributes doesn't do anything other than receive a preview image or a backstage or casual image. Tributes are not worth it.
The idea behind the tributes was to send a "tip" to a model, receive an image and give "fake points" to the spring/summer/winter events. That functionality of sending "tips" was also implemented on marvelfans, so the tributes don't make sense anymore.

Personally I have sent tips to the models/photographers directly on Marvelfans. Some models or photographers send extra images for the tips. In 2025 I have stopped doing this because some models are no longer working on new sets. The experience on Marvelfans depends on the model/photographer

I don't disagree. I'm just saying that that's the typical lifecycle of these kinds of sights. The owner of True Babes used to post some very open and transparent blogs about his business and I always found them fascinating. It seems like from 2008 to 2015 there was a nice little golden age that peaked out around 2010-2013, and we still see the sites from that era getting posted all the time. TM and MC and their sister sites are all in that same node. Their longevity will depend on their ability to keep up with recruiting new talent that their subscriber base continues to be interested in. Over time, that gets more and more difficult. Hopefully they have a good business plan and can keep finding good prospects.
