If you just charge $20-30, a lot of people can spare that, so you have God knows how many horny guys buying your stuff as soon as it comes it.

Maybe that’s the point of charging so much. It’s not about maximizing profits but making it less likely that your illegal content will get leaked because people paying that much for content are less likely to give it away for free.
