I never said we shouldn't post links, I said you shouldn't embed. If you don't know how to do this, just ask. You can post YouTube links without embedding, there is gofile, bunkr, pixeldrain, and a ton of other ways to share content besides shooting yourself in the foot.

I never bought the "posting here gets the video taken down" argument. It's easy to feel that way when you see them taken down, but you don't think about that ones that aren't taken down. Why would this live be taken down in an hour when others were up for weeks? Why isn't everything posted here taken down? Most likely some tool got pissed because she didn't reply to them and they flagged it.

It’s not the act of embedding videos that matters here, it’s the viewing of embedded videos. YouTube makes a lot of money from analytics around those views — it’s a massive market and a key part of their revenue. Pretending otherwise is like saying steak doesn’t come from cows. Do you guys really think YouTube is hand picking though 20 million video uploads per day? No, this is automated and 'soft flagging' is one of the automations.
