Normally, I would agree. But this IS a requests thread, it’s just that people have been posting content to it.

If you notice at the bottom of the page where you can create a new post, it doesn't say "post comment" or "post request." It says "post content." Or, you have the option to add discussion if you use the "add discussion" button. I believe that anyone who's following the thread will not get a notification that there's a new post because people are expecting new content when they see that there's a new post.

You can also just add a request or a comment underneath an existing post, and you'll get essentially the same type of thing we're doing here.
