People (rightly) upload individual video files so that people can stream them on their phones. Imagine if some twat only uploaded videos in zip files, forcing people to download the entire archive (if even possible on their device).

Also, as these file-share sites have a pretty short retention, it is often a good idea to repost content to keep it fresh . Ideally they would post the link under the original release, unless it was a collection from various sources, in which case it is OK to make a new post.
