Totally agree! I put that point immediately after the note about a pain point not necessarily being a problem to fix because I felt it exemplified that. It’s 100% understandable why bitcoin is the payment method as well as why there’s a ten dollar price tag. I don’t think either of those actually need fixing, but it would have been disingenuous to leave that off of my rundown when either or both of those will inevitably stop people from using the site. Which is an unfortunate reality, because I do think the site is 100% worth it.

In regards specifically to: "Bitcoin is a hurdle for many people. Ten dollar subscriptions are a hurdle for many people. Both are understandable why they exist, but this is a pain point that will inevitably lock some people out."
As someone thats a long time subscriber to GoneWildArchive, i can say they also only currently use crypto as a form of payment and im going to go out on a limb and say when running a "grey area" so to speak site like this, id have to imagine thats with cause and likely the only way they can avoid issues with payment processors/charge backs and the such. Im also a "boomer" and not overly tech savvy but even my dumb ass has figured out to do this with ease. You can just purchase BTC thru cashapp and then his link/QR code opens it up directly to the page with the amount, account it needs to go to etc already there so its as simple as pressing a button.
To the $10 part, GWA I believe is either $16 or 18 per month so i don’t think $10 is out of line EXCEPT for that in all reality at current that is a site thats archive is massive and long built already(also has fairly instantaneous updates with new posts/posters) whereas this isnt. So im also in agreement with you that at the current state with this being a fairly new and bare site in terms of depth of total content, a lower price point may be justified, at least until gets to a point where the amount of content is a lot more significant.
