Yeah, I understand their basic reasoning in principle, but I would think typically the people that get blocked are trolls that have never contributed anything, they just make annoying comments and drop clown and poop emojis for nothing. I would think people tend to not block others that post content. I would think the situation of dupe posts in these regards would be rare, and in those rare cases, could be reported so that the dupe post is simply removed.

Maybe a fail safe middle ground for this would be, if it's possible, if you put someone on block, it never blocks posts, it's just a comment and discussion post blocker, and you never see that person's emojis on your posts, nor get a notification for it. If that person you blocked ever actually posts content, I don't think it's going to be some kind of personal attack or annoyance on you. It's content. I think this is the way.

Personally I think people need to remember that this place is a leak-share forum not a "I choose who see's what and when" forum. And people deciding who can see what and what conditions people have to meet to see their content is essentially gatekeeping and not what this place has ever been about. If people post stuff they bought from creators it's because they chose to share it to everyone not for only certain people.

Can we just bring back 'ignore' please? Because there are too many people either reposting social media, or, posting 'wall posts' from OF which are as good as social media.
Also, can we please require people to post a description &/or preview pic/s for 'hide thanks' posts? Because people be hiding some really shit posts lately. Thanks!
