Do you guys know of any programs that are good for quickly sorting files and/or locating duplicate files? I have a few terabyte external HD that has a ton of content but it'll take a ton of time to comb through manually.
dupeGuru, my friend. I used it to sort my 4TB drive a while ago. Works great, I only came across a few issues where it didn't capture duplicates.
I will say this though, don't just select the drive and try to find duplicates. (It will work, but will take some time) When I did it I would do a chunk at a time, but I also have crazy OCD and everything was already in named folders and I just checked the girls folders for duplicates.
