Road hog won this one (Day 5) with a $100 bid. Days 1-4 weren't as good as this one. She locks the post (because of the auction) after 24 hours, which means you can't watch it the next day, even if you have an active subscription.

I'm archiving all of them in source quality and will post in a batch.

My thoughts were that applying passwords to every vid was going to reduce her subscriber numbers - I mean, she can't even consistently get the actual naming of each day's file number correct, so not sure how she's going to manage applying different pws to each of them) - but, in the short term, at least, my suppositions are proving to be unfounded - her paid subscriber numbers seem to be going up each day:

01 Dec: 871
02 Dec: 888
03 Dec: 899
04 Dec: 916

I have to assume these folks are very happy with having to look up and input a different pw every time they want to see a video - not sure if this will last, but I'll be keeping an eye out to see how it's going.

How wrong you are: Her paid patron numbers have jumped by 100 in the last few days and her hosting costs will now be fraction of what she was paying - looks like she was on the Premium plan and most likely she was contacted directly about upgrading to Enterprise.

I made an earlier comment about how other patreon creators protect their content.
Removed by mods I assume - It's likely other Patreon creators (evn Marling herself) view these forums), don't want to give them any ideas?

bro use (Xrecorder) is a screen recorder and this is much better, After downloading it go to settings and Set the maximum video resolution and highest fps, like this (1440p2K with 60fps) it will ensure you capture videos with higher quality

Probably not the best idea to publicly post passwords. For the first time ever she must have looked at her analytics
- she's now, one by one, adding the "devils number" password on each video according to how many times it's been viewed.
Which also means her file management on Vimeo must be shockingly hopeless
- She could have password protected all her videos by using the selecting all button with two clicks.

But here's her next trick she could try with Vimeo

It's called Domain whitelisting. Every link will break and look like this in the thread. I mentioned this in the content thread here 2 years ago.

Then following that trick, she'll could post into Patreon the vimeo embed link and not the vimeo direct link - That will make it impossible for scraping with JD2..
Then her next step will be rotating passwords sent via DM.

Seen this happen before many times - although it usually happens after being site ripped on Kemono
