Hi, all. Time to share what happened to me. I can finally talk about it calmly. I've gone through the stages of accepting and processing it, the tears have dried up, and now it's back to the usual routine we call life.

So, I've been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. My pancreatic beta cells have stopped producing insulin, and now I have to inject it myself four times a day. The question I kept asking myself those first days in the hospital was, "Why me?" There's no answer. It's like I've won a bizarre kind of "lottery." Though they say cases like mine have become more common among young people after the COVID wave.

But okay, what's done is done, and the "why" is no longer the main question. The real question now is, "What do I do?" At first, I thought this was it, that life was over. But turns out, there are plenty of people with Type 1 diabetes who prove otherwise with their lifestyle. One of the most famous examples is footballer Pelé, who was diagnosed at my age.
