i kind of agree, like the recorders before it, its kind of done, iv even tried using webcam stream recorder, but its all fucked the same, having trouble with stripchat is the big problem. nobody has updated anything for a while. What version are you using people.

is ctbrec over and done with, not seen a decent update in ages. anyway, what version are you using. i hope if something els rears its head, like new software like it usualy dose, please post it here.

I've been using ctbrec-25.10.1-win64-jre version 25.10.1.0 "copyright 2023 0xb00face". Readme says "Changes from reusedname's v5.3.2 version."

There is another one by jafea7 and is "v5.3.0-based". but i haven't tried it, or maybe I tried and it was the one always crashing after a day or 2. I forget because I tried so many things in the recent weeks since shit stopped working. But after searching online I saw that other people complained of the same problem, stopping or crashing every 24-36 hours.

There is a newer version than the one I'm using that was added just yesterday which I just saw a minute before typing this, but I haven't tried yet: 25.10.17

For now I will stick with the Oct 1 version which has been working for me, including with Stripchat (I've only tried it with CB, SC, and MFC).

Two minor problems when using "open in player" with VLC I get this error.

The exception stack was:
java.lang.InterruptedException
at java.base/java.lang.ProcessImpl.waitFor(Unknown Source)
at ctbrec.ui.Player$PlayerThread.run(Player.java:218)

(The VLC window still opens. It's just an annoyance with the error popup in ctbrec. That error did not happen with previous version I tried, but that one was crashing as I mentioned above).

And the 2nd small problem: the VLC screenshot function does not work for Sc streams. Using Pot Player as was suggested here did not produce the java error so often, but only a few times. I never had such an error with any other version of ctbrec.
 
Go on their dis cord, only 5.3.3 version works right now for SC.

i just downloaded 5,3.3. sc is still not working. there is a lot of technical talk on disc /ord but i dont understand it.

All Sc pages which I tried worked up to 2-3 days ago using 25.10.25 version. Some Sc pages still worked for me yesterday, some did not. I don't think any worked today. There is another new version from yesterday but I have not tried it.

For people that don't use D-cord, can someone who does, upload the latest (Windows, Linux and Mac versions) to Mega or any other host, when they get Stripchat working again? It would be greatly appreciated. (y)

I'm having a problem with the newer version, its not recording most camsites i.e. CB
 
Hi guys , since today some stripchat models are not more recordable via ctbr , instead the video u get a video of stripchat promo.

I guess they blocked the record.

Do u have the same problems ?

Use version 5.3.4 as they advice on their *** to dodge this issue.
