unfortunately yes it takes that long. Every woman heals differently, but generally by 6 months, the implants have softened and settled, scars begin fading, and if there was numbness or tingling, it may start to improve. Scars never fully go away — they usually fade to be lighter or darker than the skin and are influenced by genetics, skincare, and the surgeon's technique. Over time, implants need checkups or even replacement, which can add more scarring. And with age and gravity, the breasts usually (read: almost always) sag and develop stretch marks, which oddly makes them look more natural over time — though that process can take years.

Check out KneecoleSlaw's boobs (on this site) as an example. When she got them at 19yo they were adorable perky thinks, but over time they began to sag very slowly, and when u see them now at age 39 (current photo below) they are HUGE (same boobs) and when un-holstered they hang like perfectly natural good-looking giant tits. But on very close inspection (i mean very close) you see some (minor and not noticeable from 3 feet) stretch marks on the sides.
