Her and Khalil are holding on to this notion that they aren't doing anything but modeling for their fans that love fashion! And in actuality they both (and us) know that they are just making content for guys -to be blunt- masturbate to.
This was made really obvious in Khalil's "YouTube Has Killed My Channel!!!" video. It was originally titled "YouTube Has Become a Sexist Platform". In it they whine about how she gets demonetized, and in a desperate attempt to make it carry weight, they try to jump on the feminism train and claim it's because YouTube is sexist. As in, YouTube demonetizes women because they're women. And as if that wasn't laughable enough, they then go on to show an example of bikini videos on other channels that are monetized, literally countering their own point.

Even more laughably, she says her channel is to "inform people"...and that she had trouble finding stuff that fit her and would spend weeks going back and forth with companies, so she thought she would just share her knowledge, and "is it my fault that all of a sudden I get sexual comments?"

Riiiight. 63 million views and almost half a million subscribers...from chicks interested in what size they should order clothes in. I'm sure that's who those 1,006 patrons paying a monthly subscription fee are too. Not sure who she thinks she's fooling. I have a hard time believing she can even fool herself with that, but then again you can't underestimate the power of denial.

(Which by the way, a week ago it was only 880.) Obviously not a coincidence she recently started "gaming" on Twitch. Logical next move. Plenty of geeks willing to fork over money there, particularly for (even just decent looking) chicks...and they don't even have to do anything sexual.

Tug of war

The battle is between the desire to cash in and make easy money off your looks, versus the psychological need to avoid the negative perception that comes with crossing certain lines. The youtube channel I can understand the ā€œI’m just modeling, like a Victoria’s Secret angelā€ mental justification. And Kat’s Patreon content is essentially the same as a youtube channel. Khalil on Patreon is a bit more obvious about what the point of it is, so I’m not sure how she works that in her mind.

They’ll go for nudity when the payoff is greater than the perceived negative stigma.

These days though, that stigma is lower than ever. Between Playboy, sexting (and celebrity leaks), and the popularity of camgirl-type sites (basically the platforms covered in the forum), and just the level of sexual content on vanilla social media, it’s gotten to a point where it’s not much of a big deal for the public at large. Definitely doesn’t hurt anyone’s career.

I actually think some of these chicks would go for it if the money was right. Khalil for sure. If Playboy called and offered maybe even half a year’s pay she’d jump in a heartbeat. (But of course part of that would be the prestige of being featured by a popular magazine/brand.)

How?

There used to be a site called ā€œThePoint.com.ā€ It was basically a crowdfunding platform like Kickstarter, before Kickstarter existed. Someone could set up a page for a particular issue and people could pledge money toward a proposed action. The originator would only receive the money and have to deliver on the proposal if the pledges reached a set goal (the ā€œtipping pointā€). (Interesting history, eventually one group decided their goal was to save money by rounding up people to buy the same product in order to receive a group discount...the founder of the site saw an opportunity and pivoted the company focus, starting Groupon.)

Anyway, the concept of all-or-nothing funding is a pretty good one (as shown by Kickstarter copying the platform and still going strong 10 years later). It seems like a way some of these ā€œteaseā€ girls would actually get to the next level.

If there was a way to do a pledge campaign in a semi-private way, it seems feasible. Kickstarter doesn’t allow ā€œPornographic materialā€, so even though nudity isn’t necessarily porn, it’s doubtful they’d allow a campaign for a nude photoshoot.

Is there a Kickstarter alternative that could be used for something like that?

Goodness, Redery! You fully expressed what's been jumbled in my mind the last few days. Everything you stated before the how you hit right on the head, kudos to you! ?

As for the 'how?' as you said, Khalil seems like she can be nudged in that direction but the nudge would have to be significant. No Kickstarter alt that I know of exists like that, especially for private donations. But I truly believe that she has certain boundaries she won't cross for "reasons". I don't know why, and like you I watched that video of her talking about being demonetized and she's so full of shit...

So maybe there is no hope for her and Kat going to the level we want them to. Maybe they're just full of shit and they're comfortable in their full of shit happy places ?

Interesting discussion -- definitely watching this thread ?

People change their minds though. It's only really about comfort, and that's 100% mental. It would be one thing if we were talking about a group of nuns somewhere. But the chicks featured on this site are already more than halfway to nudity as it is. These aren't makeup tutorial youtubers or fashion haulers. They're already in the titillation genre, and are putting themselves out there for money (and validation, of course). They're not only comfortable with their bodies and showing skin, but in a ridiculously public and permanent way. They've already experienced pretty much all the negativity that naturally comes with that (i.e. creepy/nasty comments, potential stigma and its impacts on familial and romantic relationships, job opportunities, and life in public).

At this point nudity is really only a baby step away. (Especially because of what I mentioned earlier about it being basically not a big deal these days.) You can barely find a good looking famous woman who hasn't been publicly naked.

No, for these chicks it's not really a psychological issue anymore. It's almost completely a monetary one. Yeah, there's that last bit of mental hangup, but that's only because we in the US are not a nudist society (yet), and they're already making decent money without going there. But if anyone's got a price, it's these chicks.

Just look at Khalil's patreon videos. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if a dude or two has sent her a few thousand bucks in exchange for some nudes already. It just has to be the right price and the right format (i.e. "tasteful" content and platform, etc.) for something more public. Again, basically a Playboy type thing. Something that is a natural progression from what she's already put out there. Telling you. Not a big leap for these chicks.

Watch how she throws it in at 13:00 below. I'm not saying she's not playing to the camera/viewers for a tease (cuz you can see how adamant about "no nudity" she is in the Patreon bio), but you can also tell she's up for it.

Agreed, It's just that pesky thing of getting her there. I remember in chat during her very first live try on we were trying to get her to add a higher tier for no pasties. People were throwing out crazy amounts - $500~$1000 - she wouldn't bite. She eventually added a $200 tier for her hardcore fans, but ultimately the content still wasn't what they wanted.

I think it would have to be a ridiculous amount right now, like 10k+ for her to finally take it all off. Are her fans going to raise that kind of money for her to do some single off nude thing? Maybe.. Secondly, how do you even get her to listen without her thinking it's just some BS scam for horny dudes on the internet? ?

It would have to come from an official (or seemingly so) channel. She could try to raise it herself but that goes back to square one, she has to be willing to do it in the first place.

It is far more easier to get thoose girsl to show more. if all ther patrons stopped subbing they would take it off. They have gotten used to the cash. They would do it to keep the incom. Right now they dont have to cuz so many people are subbing them. No subs = nudity.

That's the purpose of an official fundraising platform. It functions basically as an escrow service. I'm not sure if this is how Kickstarter does it, but the way ThePoint.com worked was you would pledge with a credit card, it just wouldn't be charged until the overall pledge amount matched the goal amount.

So say a girl offers a nude photoshoot. The pledge page would go into detail describing exactly what people were paying for, what she would have to deliver if the goal amount was met. (Just check out any Kickstarter campaign page.) Say it's a Playboy-style photoshoot, and the goal is $10k. People enter their credit card info and pledge an amount. If the amount of pledges reaches that goal, everyone gets charged, and the fundraising platform holds the money. Then she would know for sure she'd be getting paid, so she could go through with all the effort and expense of the photoshoot, and deliver...at which point the platform would release the funds to her.

It's a great concept. Again, the only problem is Kickstarter most likely wouldn't allow that type of campaign, so it's gotta be some other platform. Honestly it seems like a feature Patreon should add natively. The audience is already there, the creators are already there, they payment processing is already there...it's a perfect extension to the service they already provide. It's basically like Instagram straight up copying Snapchat and coming out with Stories.

But hookers are prostitutes. These girls are sweet innocent angels who love their fans and are just trying to make some money in sweet innocent ways. That's worth something.

Plus, not everyone lives in Nevada, and the last thing anyone wants is to walk into a room thinking they're about to have sex, only to get swarmed by an army of wannabe commandos pretending they're keeping the world safe by entrapping horny dudes.

And I'd love for you to find a prostitute that looks like those chicks for $200.
