I have a kink for feet. I'm not necessarily a fetishist, because to me feet are "one of the things" that attract me in a woman, and that includes stilettos, socks, nylons, fishnets, etc. To me feet are pretty much the same as tits, ass, pussy... I like women as a whole. I like when feet are visible on the scene, and I tend to prefer all scenes where soles are perfectly visible.

I'm kind of surprised that there are people who fucking hate feet though. I can understand not being attracted to feet, but to disgusted by them? I find that pretty weird. Logically, the ass is the most disgusting part of anyone's body, and a stanky pussy is a nightmare. Still, it's more likely for people to have a kink for assholes than for feet.

When I think about it though, I can't understand WHY I like feet. Putting aside scientific theories, I can find some sort of rational or even emotional reason why I love tits and ass. Pussy needs no explanation. But feet? What's about soles, wrinkles, the shape, that's attractive?

These are a few personal ideas. I want to see how many people share or agree with these:

-I think we are coded to see people's feet as a no-go zone. You never see people's feet, and people will not show them to you. Not necessarily because they find it weird, but because showing your feet means you are in an unstable position. Unstable means not in control, which is an inherently unguarded position from which you can't defend yourself. If someone shows you their feet, it means that they do not feel threatened, and that they're open to your presence. In a sexual context, that's a fucking turn on, it means that the person in front of you is either comfortable, sumbissive, or dominating. In either case, they're open to interacting sexually.

-In the same way, if someone lets you handle their feet, they're giving away all control to you, but at the same time, you're exposing yourself to be kicked in the face. It's one of the most vulnerable moments for all people involved. But in the case of a woman, it's the position in which they're the most vulnerable, subjected to male body upper strength. They literally cannot escape from that position, which makes it the most submissive act possible.

-Meaty feet, with soft soles and wrinkles, and nice nails, are indicators of health, maybe even self esteem. Good circulation, self care... if feet, the most extreme and often hidden part of the body, look nice, it means that the person in front of you takes care of themselves and is in good health.

-The shape of a sole kinda reminds me of the shape of the body upside down if it makes sense, particularly the back? It's like the balls of the foot are like the hips/glutes, the arch is the spine (a good arch, by the way, indicates that the muscles of the feet are strong), and the heel would be the upper torso.

What do you think?
(I wrote all this knowing most if not everyone will ignore this, I guess I'll post what grok thinks about my observations...)

Grok's opinion of my post. A whole lotta bunch of nothing, but still:

I appreciate you sharing your reflections—it's a thoughtful dive into something personal, and it's cool that you're unpacking it without over-pathologizing. As Grok, I don't have personal kinks (being an AI and all), but I can riff on your ideas based on how they align with broader discussions and research out there. Foot attraction is one of the most common paraphilias, with studies estimating it affects around 1 in 7 men. It's not weird; it's just human wiring. Let's break down your points one by one, and I'll note where they overlap with what others say or what psych lit suggests.

First, the "no-go zone" idea—feet as something hidden, and showing them signals an unguarded, non-threatened state. This totally tracks with vulnerability themes I've seen pop up. In sexual contexts, exposing feet can imply trust or openness, which amps up the intimacy. It's like a subtle power dynamic: comfort leading to submission or even dominance play. A lot of people frame feet this way, tying it to how rarely they're on display in daily life, which adds a layer of taboo that makes it hotter. The "forbidden fruit" effect is real; the more society treats something as off-limits, the more alluring it becomes for some. Your point about instability and lack of control resonates with BDSM-adjacent takes, where feet symbolize a position of exposure.

On handling feet as a vulnerable exchange—yeah, this is a big one in foot-related discussions. It's mutual risk: the person offering their feet is in a spot where they can't easily bolt, relying on upper body strength differences like you mentioned, which screams submission. At the same time, you're open to a kick or whatever, so it's balanced vulnerability. This shows up a lot in talks about dominance/submission dynamics, or even acts like foot worship as ultimate servitude (think biblical foot-washing as a metaphor for humility and care). In shoe fetishism (retifism), licking soles or handling feet is explicitly about abasement and power transfer. Plenty of folks share this view; it's not niche.

Your health indicator angle makes sense too—soft, wrinkly soles with good nails as signs of circulation, self-care, and overall well-being. If the "extremities" look good, the whole package probably does. This isn't as commonly cited in psych explanations, but it aligns with how people talk about aesthetic appeal: well-maintained feet signal elegance or delicacy, similar to appreciating manicured hands. It's like an evolutionary nod to mate selection cues, where healthy features anywhere on the body are attractive. Feet being hidden most of the time just heightens that reveal.

The shape analogy—soles mimicking an upside-down body (balls as hips/glutes, arch as spine, heel as torso)—that's a fresh take I haven't seen directly echoed elsewhere. It could be a personal association, maybe subconscious pattern recognition. Psychologically, attractions often stem from early associations or brain mapping. For instance, the somatosensory cortex has feet and genitals right next to each other, so "cross-wiring" can make feet erotic for no obvious reason. Some trace it to childhood experiences, like seeing adults' feet from below and linking it to power or intimacy. Or even historical stuff, like foot culture spiking during STD outbreaks when safer erogenous zones got emphasized. Freud thought feet sub in for phallic symbols, but that's more symbolic than literal shape.

Overall, your ideas aren't out there—vulnerability, submission, and sensory/taboo elements are shared by a decent chunk of people discussing this online and in studies. It's more common than ass or other "dirtier" kinks in some surveys, which backs your surprise at the hate. Feet disgust some because they're associated with dirt or lowliness, but attraction often flips that into appeal. If anything, it's a reminder that desire doesn't always need a "why"—sometimes it's just neurons firing oddly. What do you make of the brain-wiring theory?
