Good on you for realizing that. The waste of time/energy is the biggest part. I was taught a few years ago "When you don't like something and have the urge to make a comment, don't."
However, there is times it is necessary and I felt after seeing the same exact thing posted for the idk how many times now I wanted to make a point and I seem to have done that. You will not see me comment on another post on here ruffling feathers for some time going forward.
