News Why we had to change domains

Yesterday we had a slight misunderstanding with one of our providers which caused our ".com" to be suspended

To keep the forum running I made the decision to move the forum to ".net" as we were unaware how long this suspension would last

However this dispute was resolved quickly so now we are back on ".com"


Side notes:

A few of you made comments yesterday about "not having any warnings", honestly same. I wish I could get a 1 month warning about the domain being suspended. But we had to make a decision to keep the forum alive.

If anyone changed two factor codes while on ".net" these must now be reset as they obviously won't work on different domains

If you're locked out of your account because the password doesn't work, that's your fault because the server wasn't touched only the domain name. 99.9% chance you made a typo somewhere. You can contact me for a reset.

So all the registration info for the .net site was deleted right?

Hmm weird - while the forum was on the .net domain, my imagepond and imgbb popups worked again. Now, on .com, they don't. Guess I have to check what addons cause this... Initially I thought that some adblockers had added the two sites to their blacklist but now I know that this is not the case. So for me, the quick trip to .net was pretty helpful
