Off Topic How you guys keep your downloads secret?

[williwilli]

Guys, being a member of this forum, it’s probably not a huge surprise that I like XXX stuff.

But I don’t like anyone to see my XXX stuff. Especially, as my computer is also used by other people.

Although I got a certain level of protection for my downloads, I’d love to know how you guys keep your secrets secret for other eyes?

Maybe I can learn something?

What sort of device are you using?

For the most basic tech illiterate on windows set folder to hidden. Although at the very least you should zip it up and encrypt the folder with a password.

On windows you also want to go into settings and turn off the content previews, recently opened, recommended quick access etc, those features will display your stuff where you don’t expect

If I want to keep something REALLY hidden I use Veracrypt (with a good password), if I just don't want other to access it I use a mix of basic passwords on rar archives and hidden files.
