I know a workaround to save an fullsize image If you use Firefox: Use the 'Page-info' option from the Extras menu > select the 'Media' tab an scroll through the list until you find the image you want > select it and find the "Save as" button on the upper-righthand side of the Page info panel. This works on most pages where the context-sensitive menu option (right mouse button) has been disabled. It might sound a bit tedious but it does the job ;-)
On chrome (computer) you can also use extensions to download images from the web even from pages that don't ler you right click. I use one called Image downloader. But you're free to try any (or none). You'll see the files will be heavier but higher quality than screenshots
If you feel comfortable doing so, there is a version of Firefox on Android that allows you to long-press hold and save photos and most videos on OF (for some reason, it won't allow you to save certain videos, but it's rare when that happens).
Google how to allow external APKs (Android equivalent of Windows .exe files) in your phone, Google Firefox APKs and download version 115.2.0. This should work because I've downloaded that version on two phones and they both allowed me to save. Not sure why newer versions don't allow it.
