She is undergoing a serious hip operation, which is actually a series of surgeries that require a long recovery period and an even longer period of physical therapy. Some people who have this operation literally have to re-learn how to walk. Weight gain during this period would make sense and be completely normal as meaningful exercise is almost completely impossible. She posted on her snapchat that her last surgery is this Monday (24 February).
That said, these are definitely photoshopped, but I don't think she is the one who did it. The watermarks aren't warped, so I think whoever added the watermark is the one who photoshopped them.

i would guess she can see that too but i don't think she cares. Facial & body morphing filters are so common these days. Looks like her mom takes most of her pics, so maybe mom does the editing as well. And they do so many pics it's ridiculous. Sometimes she'll post the edited and unedited versions back to back
