For several years now I have been addicted to porn, or at least I consider myself an addict. Some say you are addicted when you throw your life away, some say it's when you suffer from the consequences of the addiction, in my case: I just can't quit.
I have created a new account, used it for some time and deleted it countless times. Not only on this website, but mostly here.
Do you know that energy that drives you to hookup with girls? It simply does not exist when I'm watching porn on a regular basis, though, I was honestly in peace with it and being able to live this way, but I cannot move forward with this behavior anymore. That's the main reason that makes me want to quit so hard. I was able to live without porn for a few weeks, maybe a few months (more than once!) and it brought me clarity/peace of mind alongside the will to chase girls again, however, I lacked the strength to stay away.
So, it should be easy right? Just quit! Unfortunately, it's not, and I keep compulsively getting back into it (since this forum contains pretty much anything I would like to see in porn, and it only seems to be getting better - props to the community!!). So, in order to be free from this addiction, I always delete the account aiming to make it harder for me to access such good content. But I have always failed to leave for good.
Not this time.
I know for a fact that there are people out there who are able to watch porn occasionally, and I have so much respect for you guys, but I'm writing this message for me and for anyone who lives in a situation similar as mine, who does not have the self control to be in an environment with everything a man could wish for in porn.
You can quit! Remember why you are doing this and who you are. You are much bigger than these short-term pleasures. So stay focused, and take care of yourself.
I hope with all my life that I'll be free and that I won't come back. I wish you all a very good life. Goodbye.
