For me the best ones are the japanese games, Illusion games like Honey Select, Koikatsu etc. Gameplay isn't great but so much customization and scene-making capabilities. Illusion games has VR support, which is huge bonus for me.
There is also another creator called Miconisomi that is currently making a new game, they previously released Insult Order that is good too.

If you are looking for a more anime art style I would recommend any of the following:

1. Do you have akira points? (Standard Vanilla game about a childhood friend.)
2. Any of the installment in the rance series (Strategy game, funny dialogue nice characters.)
3. Evenicle (One of the more popular H-rpgs)
4. The Imperial gatekeeper (Hentai version of Papers Please.)

Weirdly enough, I found House Party quite good, you might will have to search up a guide to fuck a specific girl, but it's a pretty weird/fun story

For me, Bright past is the most recent and one the the games I like. It's the sandbox theme like I like. Also Mist, the story is good but it's pretty grindy. Milfy City as well, just sad that there's no update on that game for over a year now.
