forgive me if it's a dumb question but i've been coming across a lot of deleted accounts and redgifs videos in my hunt for content. if the thumbnails still show up i'd assume the data is still cached somewhere. obviously when i click the links it says the video is deleted. is there some kind of way to search the links or find the accounts?

Not a solution, but I've been trying to find a reliable way as well. Unfortunately Redgifs looks to be designed properly where the actual content gets deleted. The thumbnails are just a small fraction of the storage cost.

Web Archive also very rarely has archives of these videos, but sometimes what works is to go to some Reddit archiver like pullpush or arcticshift, then find the title of the post that is associated with this redgifs and then pray to god there is some 3rd party site that mirrored it (usually googling the title of the post should be enough)

Yeah, honestly I never gave gonewild archive a try... I think there are several mirror website like nsfw dot xxx or porn7 dot xxx etc, which all share the same central archive (so basically they have the same content). I would suggest trying scrolller if you hadn't already, I cannot confirm but I am almost certain that it is using a separate archive.
