Amazing upgrades!

One suggestion, I preferred the way the Like button worked before.
Meaning that you only needed to do "one click" to like a post.
And if you wanted to make a different reaction (dislike, etc) you could do it by just pressing the reaction button longer.

For me, personally, that way worked better.

While I appreciate the effort, I don't think this site needs discussion threads. You have already done an excellent job with the comments so that discussions can take place there, and there won't be a new notification.

But the rest of the updates look great!

Also i noticed something new on my profile on the threads which looked like a message box and i realised after going on my profile it was , so comments are now added to your profile that's quite cool i guess.

Excited for the new updates, especially bumping not changing the posted date, and add discussion vs post content buttons, as long as people use them correctly, should alleviate the majority of my issues with the site, hopefully will be rolled out to the rest of the site soon.

2 way blocking is dumb as hell. It’s a public forum, no one should be allowed to pick and choose who gets to see public posts.

Also i was wondering what the arrow pointing up sign mean't after seeing it on the Áine McGlynn thread i thought it was because i spelt the A different for a minute lol and then i realised after bumping a thread that is what it is.

Idk if it's just me, but on Android mobile, it now seems like if I tap the notification icon, the pop menu will not display unless I'm at the top of the page. CSS issue? Idk, kind of a QOL issue that's kind of annoying. But cool updates!

Please bring back the red and black Zeus Theme. I haven't been able to change it back since the update
