Not sure if people are already aware of this, but if you open a depop image and it is a small image, if you replace the P0 with P8 at the end of the image url, a larger version of the image will open, either in photos (newer images) or directly in the website (older images).

So, it looks like 2272 is the max, and still probably is. In thinking back, I think these mostly pre-date the app and were pc uploads. Now I’d bet 99% are using phone photos and the app to post. The app probably scales to 1280 upload, minus the user crop. The ones that are just being upscaled to 1280 were likely cropped in really far. Not sure if that all makes sense but I think you could still get better photos with P0 if they PC upload.
