Off Topic F1 2022 Season

What are your thoughts on the season so far? I am more interested in the midfield battles since Verstappen will probably win the championship with ease.

Yeah verstappen has totally dominated this year after the initial hiccups, but the battles down the grid have been so great. The Silverstone "...And through goes Hamilton!" moment is up there with Crofty's best casting moments, such an incredible battle that race gave us.

It's difficult to argue with Verstappen's dominance. He looks a different driver this year - every bit as complete as every multiple world champion. He and Red Bull seem to have an answer for everything. Yes he's in the fastest car, and yes they've had some luck on their side from time to time, but honestly they don't even need the luck considering the talent they have behind that wheel and in the strategy department. Max is unstoppable. You can tell that he doesn't feel that immense pressure from last year, he just looks so comfortable in the car at all times.

I'm really excited to see some young drivers come through, and I think Piastri will do great alongside Norris.

I just hope that next year Ferrari can figure themselves out and earn another championship.

Verstappen and RB are 2 good atm imo. Hopefully it will be more even next season. 24 races tho..m

Had such high hopes for Ferrari at the beginning of the season… the sadness. Verstappen has always been a favorite and he more or less has won it through and through.

Hoping McLaren gets it together for next season. Want Lando to get podium more.

Most people seem to be getting into F1 through Drive to Survive on Netflix these days. Though as an old school F1 fan myself I find that show rather fake/forced like all reality TV shows. The only other way though is literally just watching the races and checking out some F1 news sites for info.
