On another note, Chernobyl was a fantastic miniseries for me. The only other thing I had seen Jared Harris in was Mad Men, where he stood out to me. His work in Chernobyl is also solid.

And you can't go wrong with Stellan Skarsgard. Loved his character.

The Wire is tough to beat. Even the Docks season and the final season are better on rewatches. The way everything ends up being tied in together and the story coming full circle with the kids becoming the next generation. You end up feeling connected to every character on the show.

Ah, The Pacific was a different beast from BoB, as it shouldve been since Pacific Theater was hardcore vs European (imo)...Def taught me some shit though about Sledge and Basilone and Ira Hayes...

2 things that blow my mind about The Pacific: Sledge was played by the kid from Jurassic Park and Rami Malek went on to win an Oscar...shit is crazy...

As for Real Sex and Cathouse, I taped a few of those back in the day on vhs and practically wore out the tapes (pre internet days and before I was so savvy). Those sex retreats from Real Sex always made me laugh...good memories...ha

Had to pick Band of Brothers. I can still hum the entire theme and shed a tear over it. Such a powerful series. Chernobyl is a second, but only because of it being so carnally suspenseful and makes you almost feel like you're there being irradiated with the crew.
