dont know of any way to download vids from there as i dont pay for the site so i cant even view them. i know how to download pictures though. theres no way around the video paywall.

Apparently, there was a way to download the videos but it must have been patched.
The trick was to use a few firefox extensions. Fetlife used to allow sharing a direct link to the vid, so the ad-on would exploit that to download the video. Fetlife has removed that option and you can only share it to other people within the platform, rendering the ad-on useless. It hasn't been updated since 2014.
I got interested into this as well, because that site is a treasuretrove of content, and I really don't think it's a particularly elaborate site. Someone must know a way.
