Yeah, the guy that actually made the torrent was in direct correspondence with the ex bf, and he was the one that passed the information on to everyone else. Apparently they had a few people coordinating on Reddit until some simp moderator cracked down on it and got them all banned. Everything I posted is what I found either on Reddit or from a 4chan thread on /t/ that outlined what happened. I'm sure you can find that thread in the archives if you want further backstory.

Fuck it, why not? Finding archived threads might not be so easy and I've already put enough legwork into this thread
