Off Topic Forum so slow

only been member for a few days, great forum, unfortunately loading everything is way to slow. Have lots to share. Please email me if you fix this problem and I will come back.

I don't think it's on your end, I'm guessing hosting something like this is expensive, and probably heavily loading the servers.

Hi, the site is really slow, so while waiting i picked up a random page and... looked at the code ... (try to guess) ... 24.739 lignes !!! really? are you serious? you really generate around 4 megs per page and and you wonder where is the problem? That's so sad

Might be a stupid question, bu can this have anything to do with Net Neutrality rules having been repealed in the U.S. - and the site being deliberately slowed down?

Or is it just bad code or bad maintenance?

It’s just soooo slow sometimes - and it seems like this would be a perfect way to combat the site, if you can’t take it down because of foreign hosting or something.

There likely are some dark web tor pages hosted on a windows 3.11 PC somewhere in a somalian shed with nothing but a 56k modem that are faster than this forum.
