I'm creating and developing a project on huggingface leveraging the Pixeldrain web infrastructure to create an unlimited upload and unlimited video/photo file storage/sharing/streaming project. I consider it really useful, since it does not require registration like bunkr and the files last at least 4 months uploaded, much longer than websites like gofile or similar. Your personal data, private passwords... is NOT required, so it is 100% safe.

You just have to upload the files from your computer, wait for them to load to the huggingface gradio app and move them to the server (they move really fast). I thought we could upload different videos/photos related to the topic of this forum post. Project Update - Aug 8, 2025​

Hello. After a busy holiday period with little free time, I am going to update the project I am working on for this forum and for you.
I have been developing new ideas that I will try to turn into viable projects soon. The truth is that it is very complicated to develop all this out; in addition to the time it takes, I face the difficulty of not having a extensive computer knowledge, and I carry out all my ideas/projects with AI, which makes it very complicated to understand and develop everything.

This project update is simply a comparison between what my project offers versus other storage and sharing systems that we use the most in this forum (bunkr.cr and gofile.io). Here are the differences/comparisons among all:

My Project - Huggingface (private-pixeldrain-uploader), using the infrastructure of pixeldrain

• The storage time for uploaded files is at least 120 days from the last view/download. If more than 120 days have passed without being viewed/downloaded, they are deleted. However, if the files remain active, meaning at least 1 download/view every 120 days, the files will not be deleted.
• The maximum upload size is 20 GB per file, and I believe there is a maximum storage limit of up to 10,000 files; it’s a high number but still has a limit. Nevertheless, the storage space is marked as infinite.
• There are no speed restrictions when uploading files, but for downloading files, there is a limit of 6 GB per day. If you download more than 6 GB in a day, you can continue downloading files, but the download speed is reduced to a maximum of 1 MB/s. However, you can pay for a premium account and obtain certain benefits. However, I'm going to leave you a trick here: use this repository "https://github.com/sh13y/pixeldrain-ratelimit-bypasser" if you want to increase download limits without paying. This Github repository is not mine, so all thanks and rights to its author
• Files can be reported, which may lead to their deletion.
• A reliable website that, in principle, respects privacy (with servers hosted in Portland, New York, Querétaro, Frankfurt, São Paulo, and Singapore). It does not report speed or stability issues when uploading or downloading files (6 GB per day, if exceeding 1 MB/s), and its speed is stable.

Bunkr

• The storage time for uploaded files is 30 days from the last view/download (to remain active). Once 30 days have passed without remaining active, they become inactive and are deleted.
• Files can be reported, which may lead to their deletion.
• The maximum upload size is 2 GB per file, although it does not seem that there is a maximum storage limit for files.
• Currently, it is not possible to register, and an account is required to upload files, making it inaccessible to everyone.
• No limits or restrictions are indicated when uploading or downloading files.
• It does not offer a public API.
• A website of questionable privacy and origin (hosted in Russia), it may have certain moments of speed issues when uploading or downloading files and can be unstable.

Gofile

• If the uploaded files have not been downloaded within 10 days, they will start to be deleted. Like Bunkr, if the files remain active, meaning at least 1 download every 10 days, the files will not be deleted.
• The maximum upload size for files, according to them, has no limits, and it also does not seem that there is a maximum storage limit for files.
• There are no restrictions when uploading files, but for downloading files, there is a limit of 1 TB every 30 days.
• Uploaded files can be reported, which may lead to their deletion.
• It offers public API access.
• No account is required for use; anyone can upload files. However, it is possible to register (free basic functions) and become a Premium user (by paying money) to access unlimited storage, with no expiration of files...
• A reliable website that, in principle, respects privacy (with servers hosted in Paris, Phoenix, and Singapore). It does not report speed or stability issues when uploading or downloading files, and its speed is stable.

This comparison serves to obtain a feedback on my project compared to others and to be able to implement improvements. I also hope it encourages you to use it with complete freedom. I am open to suggestions and recommendations.

In summary, it is as follows:

• Ability to play videos online/streaming, even if the daily quota has been used up
• Ability to download videos at maximum speed even if the quota has been exceeded

With this improvement, I believe that this project is now a very serious and competitive alternative to Bunkr and GoFile.io. With the upcoming improvements I plan to implement, I believe I will even be able to surpass them.

Project Update - Oct 19, 2025​

Here we are again with another update on the project. This time we are bringing you two new scripts/executable programs:

1. A free program that allows you to re-upload files that have been banned by the Pixeldrain platform
2. A free program similar to IDM (Internet Download Manager) focused in this case on downloading modified links of files uploaded to Pixeldrain even if we have used all our dailytransfer quota

I would like to comment on a number of things regarding these programs in relation to viruses and malware. I want to clarify that both programs/scripts do NOT contain viruses, malware, or any other type of malicious software. The reason why some antivirus programs (specifically 10 out of 72 on VirusTotal) identify it as suspicious is mainly due to the way it was packaged (for example, using PyInstaller), a common technique in Python development that can sometimes be confused with obfuscation methods used by malware. Most antivirus programs (more than 60 solutions) do not detect any threat.

Some antivirus programs detect the file as “Malware-gen,” “Riskware.PyInstaller,” or “Suspicious PE,” but this is due to false positives caused by the internal structure of the file and its packaging, not because it contains malicious code. The file does not perform any dangerous or hidden activities; it does not connect to remote servers or maliciously modify the system.

In conclusion, the files are safe to run. All false positives have been reviewed and correspond only to the packaging mechanism, not the actual content. If you still have doubts, you can scan the file with any up-to-date antivirus and you will see that most consider it perfectly safe.

Bad news for this project

I recently received information directly from the creator of the Pixeldrain website, and he plans to make the site 100% paid, meaning that this project and the website will no longer be free. This means that as soon as this update is carried out by its creator, it will only be available for a fee, so I will abandon this project, as I created it with the aim of making it accessible and free for all of us. Below is a summary of the latest information I have obtained:

Pricing Structure​

• Storage Cost and Egress:
  • Storage: €4 per TB.
  • Egress (data transfer): €1 per TB.
• Prepaid Model: Users will pay upfront, with no free tier option, ensuring that everyone pays for what they actually use.

• Elimination of Free Tier: The intention is for all users to contribute financially, preventing premium users from subsidizing free tiers. This makes the pricing structure more equitable.
