Just had an interesting observation + a question:
Content creators then to fall into one of five archetypes: (For context, I don't view all of these creators content, just the vids where they're chatting to the camera, and this is the sense I get from the personality they display)
The Untouchable ("Princess", "Goddess", etc.)
The Temptress ("Vamp", "Tease", etc.)
The Chameleon/Mute (Always roleplaying, never "out of costume", Voice never heard, face never seen, etc.)
The Spiritual ("Hippie", "Witchy", etc.)
The Grounded ( "Outdoorsy", "Gardener", Girl-Next-Door", etc.)
But there's another category you don't see too often: Human
Basically, in one or more videos, they actually tell you what they think of their chosen path, their life, and how things are going. Less a traditional Vlog, and more of an actual conversation.
A few I can think of that sort of fit that are:
