TLDR: free internet is dying.
Anyone who discovered the internet between 2000 and 2015 saw an internet that was completely different from what we see today. It was much easier to find XXX content for free, you just had to search for "actress/model name + something" and it would return a ton of download links, through sites like MegaUpload, 4Shared, RapidShare and many others. All for free. A lot of blogspot forums (or some PHP style forum, like Wordpress/SFB) with entire photo sets or mpg videos. Some malwares too, but hey! MalwareBytes + SpyBot and you was good.
Nowadays, it is increasingly difficult to find free content, everything is paid for: whether for the content producer (it's okay, I don't blame them) or for some idiot who makes the download available in exchange for payment in cryptocurrencies or things like that. Or you fall down inside a endless link loop where some guy is farming money with ads and site clicks.
The free internet is dying. This sounds like boomer talk, but it's true: those who knew the free and collaborative internet knew it. They won't know it again, apparently.
You guys here are fighting to maintain up the very tiny flame of free Internet, and I appreciate this. You guys are heroes
