No, I'm not "the arbiter" -- I'm only someone who's spent hundreds (probably 1,000+) hours here in the past 3+ years, buying/finding, curating, and sharing new content that wasn't already posted here so everyone can enjoy it for free. As such, I"m sick and tired (as are most people who actually CONTRIBUTE to the site more than just occasionally) that the site has become completely clogged with RE-posted content that is neither requested nor needed -- AND clearly prohibited by the "Look first before you post" Forum Rules. You should READ them before getting up on your soapbox with no standing whatsoever to tell me what's "bad form." You don't seem to give a shit how long threads are getting since half or more new posts recently are this type of fake "collection" -- invariably no such thing -- only a LINK lifted from the OP who already created it, is still active, and which those people you cite who've "never seen it before" could FIND right here in the same thread if they weren't so lazy, entitled and empowered to stay that way by comments like yours. You're entitled to your own opinion, but not your own FACTS.
If somebody re-posts the same links every 2 weeks so lazy people don't have to look at the previous page in the thread (god forbid!), the entire forum will crash more often and suffer more catastrophic data losses like the one that vaporized 6 months of content from the exponential overload of its servers by these Like Farmers habitually reposting redundant shit to pad their meaningless point totals. Don't believe me? Just ask the mods how much more work they have now because of this. In the past, a mod would have removed this post during a routine cleanup of his assigned threads and tell the offender not to do it again -- but they simply can't keep up with the flood anymore.
So, in summary, I'm sure your hearts' in the right place, but with your 9 whole posts in 2+ years, it's your comment that's "bad form" and out of line. Have a nice Sunday.
