Off Topic Mega limited the free download speed ???

Hi mates! Today downloading some files from Mega i have seen that i cant download at full download speed like i did till some days ago .

I have seen that the download page has a new graphic ... is it possible that they liimited the download speed ?

It happening to you too ?

For free accounts they throttle speeds all the time. Sometimes it's lighting fast, sometimes it's slow as dirt. Same with the transfer quota - it usually caps out at 5GBs for free accounts, but sometimes they'll be generous and let you go over. It is what it is unless you bite the bullet and pay.

It varies based on the load at the time. If you're downloading during peak usage time, the limit will be the lowest they advertise and speed may get throttled.

If you do it at a less crowded time, your limit may be higher and speed faster.
