has anyone finished ms.marvel? i want to finish it so i can get to she hulk but its jist so cringe to watch imo

I couldnt watch the entire series. Had to cut it short. I know what you mean, its really cheesy and seems to be pointed towards young teens...

probably not the only one but I can't stand hollywood movies anymore, all I watch now is 70s-90s indie/foreign movies (giallo, jhorror, folk horror, anything really weird)

Almost, it would be a lot easier if every other films wasnt a Marvel movie or a reboot of batman/spiderman. There are still some good films coming out - The French Dispatch was enjoyable if you can do Wes Anderson

The only Wes Anderson movie I enjoyed was The Life Aquatic so I never checked out his more recent stuff. His sense of humor is too focused on showing off how quirky he is.

hard not to agree with that. I find myself looking for things to watch before bed every night and end up browsing for 30 minutes plus before giving up and watching an old movie I've already seen ten times over

Been hitting the classic 90's cyberpunk pretty hard recently. Hardware, Nemesis, Johnny Mnemonic, Death Machine, Hackers and such.

Part of the problem for me is the shaky camera and CGI in new action movies is completely nauseating, there are very few exceptions (Zahler movies, Nobody, Old Henry, Hacksaw Ridge... that's all off the top of my head but I'm sure there's others I didn't see)

Watched Cornetto trilogy, it was pretty good, Hot Fuzz has become my fav

Oh yes, Split Second - can't believe I forgot that one. Rutger Hauer was a legend. Hobo With a shotgun was great too. And Flesh + Blood. Basically he was epic in almost everything.

Literally never seen it. Always been on my list, never got around to it. I'll see about booting it up in the next couple of weeks. Oh and his performance in Blade Runner is amazing too of course. He's so well known for it I don't even mention it anymore.

I'm halfway through The Sandman on Netflix. I'm liking it so far.

I'm also through season two of For All Mankind. I grew up wanting to be an astronaut and this show just appeals to me.
