Hey everyone,
I've been building my own system for storing and — more importantly — discovering content for a while now, and I've reached a point where I'd really like someone to bounce ideas off. Not necessarily a coder — more someone who's into this, gets it, and can say "this is missing" or "I'd do this differently."
Let me try to describe what it is, because it stopped being a plain gallery a long time ago.
Think Stash, but one that hunts content for you.
A classic stash works like this: you throw files at it, and it organizes them nicely. My system flips that around — it goes out across dozens of sites on its own, looks for new stuff based on what you actually like, and brings it home to you.
The heart of it is a local dashboard (runs on your own machine, nothing leaves it, no cloud). And here's what happens inside:
Discovery — this is the killer feature
You set up profiles ("I want this, from her, from these sites") and the system scans in the background on its own, pulling in new videos
When it finds something, it notifies you — you don't click anything, you just check what showed up
It works across 60+ sites and hosts at once — from the big tubes, to leak forums (yes, including Simp and many many more / spam filter here cant post /
Every site has its own dedicated "extractor" — it can get to the direct video even on sites where you normally can't just download it
The extension + dashboard are one tool — and this is where it gets fun
And it's not just here on the forum. The extension lights up on basically every site I browse — the tube, the cam site, the file host, the model's page — every one of them is already "unlocked." A panel pops up right on the page and reads everything for me.
So while I'm just browsing normally: see a clip I want? One click → it's in the vault. A whole page or a model's entire library? The panel grabs the lot, shows me thumbnails, quality, size, duration — and I cherry-pick exactly what I want, or take "all at once." Whether it's one clip or 200 videos in one go, a couple of clicks and a few seconds later they're all sitting in my database — fully resolved, full metadata, ready to stream. No copy-paste, no dead links, no opening 30 tabs.
That's the part that's hard to go back from: every site you open already behaves like part of your own library.
What it does with content once it finds it
This is where it really pulls away from a plain folder of videos:
It auto-tags everything — reads the title and assigns models, categories, tags. You don't type anything by hand
It knows duplicates — not by filename, but by what the video actually looks like (perceptual hash of the preview). So even if you have it twice under different names, it catches it
It watches whether links are still alive — periodically checks if content is still playable and flags dead sources
Thumbnails, gif previews, hover-scrubbing — hover over a video and see what's in it without opening it
Smart playlists — you give it rules ("everything from this model, over 1080p, from the last 30 days") and the playlist fills itself continuously. Not a manual list — it's alive
And then you just watch
Built-in player right in the dashboard, resume where you left off, favorites, "watched", stats
Search across the whole library including subtitle content (find a scene by what's actually being said in it)
Everything sorted, clean, yours
Why this gives fans more than a regular stash:
A stash is an archive — you do the work, it stores. This is a hunter — you tell it what you like and it brings it to you, tags it, filters out duplicates, watches whether it's still alive, and serves it up ready to watch. You just browse the result.
Where it's at right now:
It runs daily — this isn't a demo. The core (discovery, tagging, dedup, player, smart playlists) is working. On top of that I've also got a Chrome extension for quick "grab and send to the vault" when I'm browsing manually, but that's just a helper — the real work happens in the dashboard.
What I'm looking for:
someone who'd enjoy taking a look and throwing out ideas on what to add / improve
a second perspective — what's unintuitive, where it could be simpler
maybe tips on sites/sources worth adding
It's not public, and the details of exactly how I do it I'm keeping to myself
— but if it caught your interest, drop me a DM.
