Off Topic Questions from a new active member

Hey, I'm not actually new to the forum, but I'm starting to be active on it. So forgive me if my questions look kinda dumb haha
How does it work for you to get the Leaker and/or Contributor tags? Is it about points number? If so, how many points is estimated for each tag?
And I've read here in some posts about some certain threads that are oculted for most of the users, requiring some amount of points to access them. Is it true? How many points should I collect to get to see them?

Most of these details seem to currently be intentionally unclear to prevent people from trying to cheat the system. Especially because of a certain other site's recent shutdown due to... malicious intervention from outside parties.

i understand what the present system is trying to do but i think making it age based on some accounts, especially 2020 ones should have been something to consider. In general look at the request posts, if you have something try to fufill it in time you'll get there.

Posts are hidden for some users but it's just the case of being an active member and it'll open up for you! (Likely a mixture of posts, reactions and maybe time just to make sure people are proper contributers before opening it all up!)

I miss that other site so much, it going down has really put a damper on all of these things. I don’t think I’ve even logged into OF in months lol. A lot of the threads I used to follow over there and could contribute in I can’t access here so kind of a catch 22. Hopefully we’ll find out way to the promised-land soon.

Some people will have almost nothing and be members, seems to be mostly random but I would guess it's probably based off posts or reactions
