You are right about Skinny Puppy. I feel like he was the first. I can't recall anything like his work from that era, but it started a flood of that type shortly after it. It was also just a year or so before the start of free porn. Up until 2006 or so, porn was nearly all paywalled. After 06 the floodgates opened and a lot of great private porn hit websites.
