I'm actually so hyped for this show, they have a pretty incredible cast and the story line both look amazing. I'm gonna be so disappointed if it flops like the last few episodes of GOT

The ending of Game of Thrones completely destroyed my interest in all things related to it so I'm not really interested in watching. Maybe if the reviews for it are incredible I'd give it a shot.

My thoughts exactly... I was so hyped and now I'm completely ambivalent to any GOT related material

I completely agree with the consensus thoughts in the thread. Its just really hard to get invested in prequel GOT content knowing who takes the throne at the end...that said im a masochist so ill probably watch anyway

Yea the ending of GOT ruined the franchise for me, it ruined it's entire legacy and made it less memorable from how awful it ended.

It looks like it has the makings of a good show but the first episode didn't do it for me. The accents were all over the place too.

Got it series linked ready to give it a try, though like many others I was really soured on the ending of GoT.

Not been wowed by any of the trailers. But will probably watch and see.

All I ask is that it doesn't suck. Last season of GOT certainly sucked. House of the Dragon has perfect timing with its premier because Westworld just ended and I don't have another big show to watch.
