Mega Downloader 1.9 has some problems with downloading folders, if you have this problem you need to update to version 2.0

WTF is the point of sharing a password protected file without the password?

Okay so now that you quietly updated your post to include the password, I don't see the point of this app when Mega already has a download manager. This post makes it sound like the app has some kind of built-in functionality to bypass the Mega bandwidth limits, but as far as I can tell it's just someone's own version of a download manger, possibly created before Mega had one of their own.

Admittedly I do find it odd that the latest version listed there is 1.8, and there is no mention of the 1.9 and 2.0 versions you are posting here. It's also a little suspicious that the .exe files in your pack show 10 and 30 malicious flags, while the exe files of 1.8 from the website show just 4 and 5.

All that being said, none of these appear to do anything to bypass the Mega bandwidth restrictions anyway. The use of the Psiphon proxy is what allows downloading after you've reached the limit. Meaning, the MegaDownloader doesn't have anything to do with unlimited downloading. You could just run Psiphon (or any VPN) and get the same result.
