Off Topic Warning: Fake TB clones are appearing

I'm not sure this warrants a thread but I think it's important enough to appear on the thread list for new users.

Some people have been promoting TB dot ac as the "new domain" or "new version" of TB. It's not. It's a honeypot site designed to steal your credentials and will ban you after a few minutes to prevent you from re-accessing it. It is hosted with no DMCA protection and no way to delete your account because it isn't designed to host real users. It's just scammers that are stealing logins to make money in the panic of TB disappearing.

If you made an account there with the same username and password as you use elsewhere, change your password ASAP.

I deep-dived into the fake site and it's contacting very fishy third party sites, also it's hosted on cloudflare so it will be short lived.

I made an account luckily it was a burner email and password but I've heard some horror stories on the TB reddit about the clone being a honey trap so I'd definitely stay away.

So many of these 'new' sites popping up, I'd be weary registering with any of them for the moment, lots of scammers out there looking to get login details etc.
