If by old, you mean late 20s/early 30s, then I think it you should give it a chance. If not, you can always fall back on Legend of the Galactic Heroes

It is battle shonen you might not appreciate the simplicity of two dudes fighting like u did in your younger days yk, Demon Slayer is an OK story with God tier animation

Ping Pong: The Animation is a short (11 episodes, ~20 minutes each) series about the meaning of life, kinda. I think it's brilliant, and would recommend it to anyone who's ever pursued greatness, felt confused about what they wanted, or had issues with self confidence.
