Off Topic What tv shows are you guys watching

As a diehard Tolkien fan whose favorite of his books is The Silmarillion, I think The Rings of Power is absolute trash. I'm gonna copy what others have said elsewhere, and say it's essentially big-budget fanfic. Important characters such as Elrond and Galadriel are in name only, and bear no resemblance to the characters from the books. Even if it had nothing to do with Tolkien, I'd probably say it was mediocre at best.

They went with Irish for the Harfoot Hobbits' accent, which I found amusing but slightly annoying. All they're missing is a pot o' gold at the end of a rainbow.

I also hated the movies (only watched the first of each trilogy, they were that bad IMHO), but this might be the worst of all. If I continue with it, I'll be hate-watching every episode.

Aside from House of the Dragon, I'm watching What We Do in the Shadows and Welcome to Wrexham.

I just finished the Netflix doc on the FLDS called Keep Sweet. It was okay but not nearly as good as the one on Peacock about the FLDS called Preaching Evil. That one was really good.

Recently I watched Banshee which is a cinemax exclusive and its also on Amazon Prime. First I thought it would be some generic action but boy WAS I WRONG. It's really a GOOD SHOW and also HIGHLY RECOMENDED. Its A HIGHLY UNDERRATED series in my opinion.
