Off Topic youtube dim out problem

anyone know how to remove dimming out (like shadows) from youtube videos when video is paused? you know when you pause video, like 200 pixel from both up and down of screen is dimming out. this is so fuckin annoying and one of the most stupid features from retarded google employees.
there is no add-on as far as i know. maybe some script for greasemonkey or smth like that?

this dosen't happen to me, im on pc using dark theme, idk if it makes a difference
