Today we've released 10 new features and updates for the forum

Bigger changes:

1) Discussion Posts - Beta
We all hate getting a new post notification and its just a member asking if anyone has her most recent video. To help combat this we'll introduce 2 new buttons on the reply box that will replace the current Post Reply button. We'll have a new Post Content button which will be used when you post content and it sends a notification to all users watching a thread. We'll also have a new Discussion button that can be used when posting information such as "She posted this on OF" or "This is her new Instagram link", these type of posts do NOT send a notification.

We know everyone will not like a thread filled with Discussion posts so we've added a Hide Discussion button at the top and bottom of each thread if you want to hide all of that unnecessary talk. We will be trialing this feature for a few weeks only in the OnlyFans section.


2) Two-Way Blocking
We have removed the Ignore button and replaced it with a Block button. Before the Ignore acted as a one way system that let you ignore that members content however they'd still be able to see yours but now blocking will act as an actual block, you won't see their content and they won't see yours. This will also work if a member has restricted their profile. You're unable to block mods.

3) A new bump button
The bump button will no longer change the post date and will not appear as a new post. It'll simply only jump the thread to the top of its section. It has a new place too, the button will now be on the top bar next to the Watch/Unwatch button

4) Reactions
Reactions will be displayed differently on posts and have a more compact view when selecting a reaction

5) Translate - Beta
You'll be able to translate a single post or even a whole thread with the Translate button that appears on the same bar as Watch/Unwatch and also next to Report. You'll be able to save a language as default. We're using a free language model so it may not be perfect

Smaller changes:

6) Comments Update
Comments will show stats on your profile, you can also sort by reaction score on comments giving you the top 10 reacted so no more scrolling 50 comments to find that reup

7) Sticky Post
You may have come across flashing notices above a few threads for certain thread rules, we're getting rid of those and mods will be able to pin a post above each thread to make rules and thread notices more visible

8) Better Thread Thumbnails
The current thread thumbnails are mostly broken but the new update will ensure 99% of threads have a working thumbnail

9) Passkey login
To make login easier you will be able to login via a passkey avaliable in Account Security.

10) Updated Reports
Reports will have a dropdown of options making it easier for you to notify us of content that needs removing

When a user, who posts frequently, blocks another user, who posts frequently in the same thread, they'll often post duplicate content, not able to see what the other posted. This seems dysfunctional for the entire forum. Is there a way these users could see each others content posts, but not interact with each other?

Ad blocking extensions:
uBlock Origin or Lite
Privacy Badger
NoScript (allow the java scripts you want as needed, block the rest)

Browser settings:
Enhanced Tracking Protection: Strict
Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows
Block dangerous and deceptive content
Keep browser up to date
Clear browsing data (cookies, history, cache, website data, etc) weekly
Use email masks
Tell websites not to sell or share my data

Device and/or router settings:
Use a VPN or Private relay
Set your device and browser to a fast but privacy enhancing DNS e.g., cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or Quad9 (9.9.9.9)
Rotate your IP address (some systems give the option to do this automatically)
Limit tracking

If you use google/android software, you're using adware. Some of my friends can't make a call (even in an emergency) until they watch a 30 sec ad

I hope im not asking in the wrong area, but say i wanted to create a thread about a youtuber who posted stuff under a different moniker, and who still is around. would it go under youtuber or requests, because most of their insta stuff was under their old channel name

When you changed the Domain from ".com" to ".net" with ZERO NOTICE it totally killed my PASSKEY/Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). No matter when I did I could not get my passkey to recognize this website anymore/work to login.

My PASSKEY is tied to "forums.socialmediagirls.com" and by making a simple change to ".net" it breaks the authentication/certification and my passkey won't recognize the website anymore. A LOT of less tech savvy people using 2FA are going to wake up and be super pissed/confused as to WTF is going on.

So now I'm starting over and have to try to remember all the thread I was following.

It would've been nice to be able to disable my pass key before you made the changes so it wouldn't completely lock me out of my account.

Hey, I cannot login to my main account. And, can't reset my password. I just don't get the e-mail. It's not a e-mail problem because I get other e-mails just fine. My password does not work even though I'm %100 sure that the password is correct. I just wanna access my watched threads. I probably lost my 360+days login streak but whatever. Please do something.

I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU and APPRECIATION POST to [/CQ]. He was able to help me recover this account after yesterday's domain switch and an issue with my 2FA/Passkey and me accidentally deleting my saved password.​

I've been a member of lots of forums online (not just adult focused) and it's often Tims impossible to get support. But he replied and helped me within HOURS!!!​

So yes there might have been hiccups yesterday but cut him some slack.​
